Shadow Mount

Small lightweight Cylinder Mounting System. The shadow mount is smaller and lighter than what many people use already with the tiger gear. A set of tiger gear weighs in at 1.2kg compared to the 0.4kg of the new shadow mount, quite a large saving for the travelling rebreather diver, all the small weight savings add up. The shadow mount is also designed to accomodate different cylinder sizes, It does this by having two different angle profiles on the mount one for 2 and 3 lltr steel cylinders and the other angle for larger diameter cylinders such as aluminium 3's dumpy 3's or even ali 5.5's.For the diver who is width contious shadow gear will reduce the width of the rebreather by 36mm

FRP Plenium Canister

Fiber Re-inforced Plastic a product taken from the oil industry,A new lightweight option for the meg, it will save you around 2 kg off the weight of the plenium canister. One advantage yet to be tested and figures produced is the thermal advantages which hopefully will extend the duration of the scrubber material. The can will be covered with a plastic lining "Linex" and will allow a custom colour finish.


Software Update's

Ver.2.6 -


This is a Program upgrade for people who have 2.01K software running the Jaksa Solinoid.

These additions to the present 2.01k software include.

- Power save mode can be enabled and disabled (this is a stored command and needs to be turned on and off as required)

- Back light always on (this will default to off when the unit is powered up you need to activate it as required)

- Auto setpoint control (this will switch to your desired setpoint as you descend a shot line but will also vary the Oxygen rate of injection as you ascend to maintain your set point.)

- O2 can now be set to 100% in calibration screens also calibration screens have changed order.

- The alttude is now at the mid point of the height band as opposed to the bottom.

- When setting the O2 percentage upon reaching 100% the screen will no longer wrap around to 70% but start to count down to 70 before wrapping around, you can still move in blocks of 10 both up or down.

- Hud alarms have changed (the solid red is now on at 0.4 or below and solid green will show at 1.4 and above) it is hoped that in the future these alarms will be selectable by the user.

Has a physical change to the electronics package now smaller and more power efficient, it allows for service centres to remove the boards during service if required as they are not hard potted

The user funtions are the same as with version 2.05b if a user wished to upgrade to this software package then it will be a costly upgrade as many new components will be needed.

Solinoid, all wiring cables and looms, battery boxes it is basically a new head that will be required.



COPIS - Constant Oxygen Pressure Injection System is a non electronic driven system. The COPIS Meg is a Diver/operator manual Oxygen addition system with a constant Oxygen pressure first stage that injects through an orifice system a 0.69 litres per minute (or more) of Oxygen for the diver. The system is popular with CCR divers that want electronic simplicity but the full build quality and capability of the Meg.

Heads Up Display

The new HUD uses two single color LEDs for PO2 display. The LED facing the diver is always red and the vertical LED is always green. The blink pattern is identical to the old LED other than at a PO2 of 1.0 both LEDs blink.

This change was to accommodate color blind divers and difficulty in determining color in high ambient light conditions.


Copis 2

COPIS 2 we have added an electronics module that contains an APECS 2.5 board and an APECS HUD. From a functional standpoint the software is identical to APECS 2.5 (except for injection of course) The handset is an APECS 2.5 handset with some formatting changes (screen layout changed a bit) and larger numbers for easy reading. The card also drives the HUD. The main advantages this are:

Retains calibration across power resets
Backlight control
Power save control
COPIS now can show mv and batt volts in sys mon
Altitude calibration
