Diver Programs

Enriched Air Diver

This program is the entry-level certification course for the recreational diver wishing to utilise Enriched Air Nitrox as a breathing gas. This program will be conducted to a maximum depth of 130 feet/40 metres. The objective of this program is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% Oxygen content

Technical Diver Programs

Technical EANx Diver

This program is designed to train divers to carry out dives to 160 feet/45 metres using mixed gases and to provide a greater understanding of the gases to be used for each phase of the dive, a complete knowledge of the limits of any EANx mix, the use of EANx decompression mixes and the use of oxygen on decompression. It also develops a working relationship of gas blending; tracking oxygen uptake at all levels of the dive (bottom time, ascent time including decompression stops), how to plan OTU/CNS values to allow for maximum dive safety.

Extended Range Deep Air Diver

This program is designed to provide training to those who will venture beyond the normal sport diving range. This program will be conducted to a maximum depth of 180 feet/55 metres. This is a tightly supervised program, concentrating on safety, control of oxygen and narcosis risks, plus the added staged decompression procedures.

Advanced Wreck Diver

This program provides training and experience to completely conduct advanced wreck dives. The training follows the same course structure as the Extended Range Deep Air Diver courses also including penetration skills and techniques. This program will be conducted to a maximum depth of 180 feet/55 metres. The main objective of this program is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of wreck diving.

SCR Rebreather Diver

This program is the entry-level course for recreational divers wishing to utilise the Dräger Nitrox semi-closed circuit rebreather. The program will be conducted to a maximum depth of 130 feet/40 metres. The objective of this program is to train the diver in the benefits, hazards, skills, performance and theory that goes into planning safe rebreather dives. "This is a unit specific course and training will be carried out on a Dräger Dolphin rebreather".

Megalodon CCR Diver

This is the entry-level course for divers wishing to utilise the Megalodon closed circuit rebreather. The program will be conducted to a maximum depth of 130 feet/40 metres. This course consists of Theory, a comprehensive pool session and open water dives, upon completion the course will give you the core skills and principles in the use of the Megalodon Closed Circuit Rebreather.

rEvo

rEvo CCR Diver

This is the entry-level course for divers wishing to utilise the rEvo MCCR closed circuit rebreather. The program will be conducted to a maximum depth of 130 feet/40 metres. This course consists of Theory, a comprehensive confined water session and open water dives, upon completion the course will give you the core skills and principles in the use of the rEvo Manual Closed Circuit Rebreather.

Mixed Gas CCR Diver up to 75mtrs

Level 1:This course provides the training required to competently and safely utilise breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilising nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 60 metres in conditions similar to or better than the assessment conditions. This course may be undertaken in the equipment of choice based on prior qualification

Level 2 :This additional experience level assesses the experience and performance of the Trimix Diver and following successful assessment dives to within 3 metres of a target depth may be awarded a rating maximum of 75 metres in conditions similar to or better than the assessment conditions. In cases where there is documented proof of prior experience the Professional Instructor may combine level 1 and 2. This may be undertaken in the equipment of choice based on prior qualification.

EANx/TRIMIX gas Blender

This program is designed to train competent personnel in the safe handling of oxygen and the preparation of EANx, Technical EANx and Trimix. Two or more gases or gas mixes can be combined to form a final gas mixture of predetermined composition. The course covers two methods,

1. Continuous Flow mixing

2. Partial Pressure mixing
